Manhunt after robbers hit Westville hospital

Three robbers are on the run, after stealing electronic appliances from a private hospital in Westville.

KwaZulu-Natal police spokesperson, Nqobile Gwala says the gang assaulted a security guard at the facility on Tuesday.

"The suspect took two TV's and fled the scene in their gateway vehicle. A case of robbery was opened for investigation at Westville Police Station," says Gwala.
Last year, armed robbers made off with thousands of Rands worth of goods and patients' items at Life Westville Hospital - along Harry Gwala Road.
