Durban family devastated after missing relative found in morgue
Updated | By Noxolo Miya
The family of an elderly Durban man who was reported missing says they are heartbroken by his death.

Anamallay Rungasamy, who is from Newlands East, was last seen in Newlands West last month.
The 65-year-old's body was found at the Phoenix mortuary last week.
It's understood he was killed in an alleged hit-and-run incident on the day he disappeared.
Speaking on behalf of the family, Dawn Gounden of Renegade Search and Rescue says Rungasamy had been mistakenly identified as someone else at the mortuary due to the injuries he sustained.

"The family was awaiting to ID his remains, and they were given finalisation yesterday pertaining to the remains belonging to him.
"A funeral is already being documented thus far. They are very upset and saddened because of the amount of injuries. Sadly, he will have a sealed coffin due to the injuries he sustained from the hit-and-run. At this stage, an inquest has been opened."
