Durban croc handler ‘in recovery’ after attack

A crocodile handler is said to be recovering at home and in good spirits after being attacked by one of the reptiles in Durban.
The incident happened over the weekend during a show at the Crocodile Creek Centre in Greylands.
The tour guide is seen in a video inside a pond with two reptiles, trying to get a reaction from them.
After a few nudges, one of the crocodiles quickly turns and grips the man's leg in its mouth before letting go.

The man was rushed to the hospital.
In a statement to Newswatch, the centre says the handler, named only as Senzo, was stabilised in hospital and his leg was X-rayed.
It says it is relieved he only suffered minor bite injuries.
