Two Durban companies that deal in car parts have been slapped with fines for receiving stolen property.

The KZN NPA's Natasha Kara said: "Recently, two Durban-based companies, Wind Motors and South x South 29 (Pty) Ltd pleaded guilty to two counts of receiving stolen property and one of failing to register as a motor vehicle builder.
"The Durban Regional Court sentenced them to a collective fine of R 150 000. The NPA welcomed this successful prosecution."
