After disrupting trading in the Durban CBD on Tuesday morning, Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) protesters have now moved to the Clicks store at Gateway Shopping Centre in Umhlanga.

This is despite, an interim interdict granted by the Gauteng High Court this morning - preventing the EFF intimidating Clicks employees and disrupting the retailer's operations.

The protest is in its second day and over a hair care advert by the brand - Tresemme - which Clicks had up on its website.

It's been labelled racist for referring to the hair of black African model as damaged and dry - while that of a while model was described as normal.

Some East Coasters say they haven't been able to access Clicks' pharmacies because of the protest.

Anlie MacDonald from Malvern in Durban says she hasn't been able to collect her chronic medication from her local store because it's closed.

"I just don't know what to do at the moment. I cannot afford another script from my doctor. I am at my wits ends at the moment. I am trying to see if there is somebody that can borrow me some medication until I can get my medication from Clicks."

Jonathan Fourie of Pinetown says he can't get his diabetes medication from anywhere else.

"I am in the middle of the repeat script, so I have to go to Clicks or let my sugar out of control and go to hospital and risking getting COVID, so it's going to be an interesting day.
