Durban central building blaze extinguished

Firefighters have extinguished a blaze in the Durban CBD.

Plumes of grey smoke could be seen coming from a building between Dr Pixley KaSeme Street and Convent Lane on Thursday morning.
eThekwini Fire's Nqabakazi Nqoro says the blaze broke out at Durban Boxer Superstores.

"There was an electrician that was working there earlier.
"After he left there was an explosion. The fire is out."
Nqoro says there no injuries reported.
