Durban CBD fatal shooting 'taxi feud'
Updated | By Anelisa Kubheka
The KwaZulu-Natal Department of Transport believes the fatal shooting at a taxi rank in the Durban CBD yesterday could be linked to a taxi feud.

Three people were gunned down at the Brook Street rank at about 6am.
MEC Willies Mchunu says the shooting could be related to the feud between the Zamokuhle and Sonke taxi associations.
The department has previously intervened in the feud over the Port Shepstone to Durban route.
A court interdict had been issued to prevent Sonke from interfering with the Zamokuhle route.
Mchunu briefed the media at the Durban City Hall yesterday.
''We've asked our legal people from within the Department of Transport, Community Safety and Liason and the police to work on relating the court interdict, the present contempt of court process and whatever information accrued from today so that we can see whether it's not a recurring of the same thing,'' he said.
