Durban boy struck by bus, hospitalised

Emergency services have rushed an 11-year-old Durban boy to hospital after he was run-over by a bus on the Berea.

Reports from the scene are that the child was trying to cross Randles Road in Overport when he was hit this morning.

KZN VIP Medical and Rescue spokesperson, Annalene Hansraj says paramedics found the boy lying on the side of the road."[He] was stabilised on scene and transported down to hospital. He was alert and conscious and sustained only minor injuries."
