A security guard and an alleged accomplice linked to the murder of a Reaction Unit officer are due to line up in court this week.
Police arrested the pair on Friday, just hours after the private security official was shot and dumped in a manhole.
The 33-year-old is understood to have been patrolling a business complex in Riverhorse Valley when he was ambushed.
