'Drug dealers' nabbed at Glenashley home remanded in custody

Two Durban men accused of having more than R1.5 million worth of drugs in their possession have been ordered to spend another week behind bars before they make a bid for bail.
They were nabbed at a home in Glenashley.
Police say a sheriff went to Laughton Drive on Wednesday to carry out an attachment order.

It's understood the men refused to let him in, and then began throwing bags into their car.
The sheriff called for backup when he saw that one man was armed.

Officers arrived and searched the suspect's vehicle and found drugs believed to be cocaine stashed inside a bag, guns and ammunition.
Six passports were also seized.
The pair appeared in the Durban Magistrate's Court on Thursday, and the case was postponed for bail consideration.
