Woman shot dead, partner wounded by suspected Phoenix drug dealer
Police in KwaZulu-Natal are investigating a case of murder and attempted murder following an attack on a couple in Phoenix, north of Durban.
A woman was shot and killed, while her 28-year-old partner was wounded on Wednesday morning.
The police's Robert Netshiunda says the shooting is believed to be drug-related.

"It is reported that the two were walking along the Phoenix Highway when a suspect known to the man emerged from the bushes and started shooting at them.
"Preliminary investigations have thus far revealed that the man who was shot owed a drug dealer some money.
"The suspect has been identified and police investigations into possible drug-related violence are underway."
