Drive to create male breast cancer awareness
Updated | By Nothando Mkhize
A non-profit group says there needs to be more education on male breast cancer.

The PinkDrive has kicked off a campaign on Monday to create awareness and provide health-related services to communities in KwaZulu-Natal.
The organisation's Merné Ogle says they'll visit Madadeni and Newcastle before making their way to other parts of the province over the next few weeks.

Ogle says with the spotlight on early breast cancer detection in women, in recent years, men also need to pay attention to this area of their health.
"Even for prostate and testicular cancer, it is important that the guys come through as well and have a test done.
"Over the age of 40 we do a PSA test, which is just a fingerprint and you get your results immediately.
"Breast cancer affects men as well as women. For the men, they should be screening atleast once a month, same as the women do because it is one percent of our population."
