South Africa sees drop in COVID-19 deaths

The daily COVID-19 death toll in South Africa has dropped drastically, with the Health Ministry reporting 20 deaths over the last 24 hours.

Fatalities, due to the virus, have now climbed to 15 447 in the country.
Over 1 500 new infections have been registered, bringing the number of positive cases identified to more than 649 000.
The recovery rate remains steady at 88.9%.
Nearly 578 000 people have beat the virus.
