Diver dies off Warner Beach, south of Durban

A man has died following a diving incident on the KZN upper south coast.
Emergency services were called to Warner Beach, near Amanzimtoti, south of Durban at around 9am.
ER24 says the diver, believed to be in his 60s, was brought back to shore by the diving boat.
Spokesperson Russel Meiring says the diver was lying motionless on the boat when it arrived at the beach.

Meiring says the man showed no signs of life.
Advanced life support interventions were initiated in an effort to revive him.
His vital signs did not return and he was declared dead at the scene.

It is still unclear what led to the incident.
Authorities are investigating.
