Dept probes report missing UniZulu graduate found in Nigeria

International Relations says it's following up on reports that missing University of Zululand graduate, Mbali Gumede has been found in Nigeria.
The department's Nelson Kgwete says they've instructed the South African High Commission in Lagos to follow up on the case and work with Nigerian authorities.
"The South African High Commission in Lagos, Nigeria is following up on those reports about the woman from KZN who was kidnapped working with the nigerian police. They will report to us as soon as information becomes available," he says.
Meanwhile, Gumede's family has told Newswatch their search for the 23-year-old continues.

Her sister, Tobo Mthembu says she received a Facebook message saying Gumede had been found in Nigeria.
She says they're still waiting for the information to be verified. Mthembu sent the message to police - who contacted DIRCO requesting assistance.
