Death toll from N1 Polokwane crash rises to 9
The death toll from Tuesday morning’s collision involving a truck and an SUV has risen to nine.
The two vehicles were involved in a head-on collision on the N1 bypass near the Mall of the North in Polokwane.
Limpopo authorities say the sport utility vehicle lost control and collided head-on with a truck.

Limpopo transport spokesperson Tidimalo Chuene says two children were killed in the crash.
"Sadly, fatalities have increased from seven to nine and these are all occupants of the SUV. We have four males and five females that were confirmed dead form the horrific accident that happened this morning."
