DA urges Premier to 'move heaven and earth' to stop farm murders
Updated | By Nomfundo Ngcobo
The DA in KZN is calling for urgent action from the Premier following two recent farms attacks in the province.

Three family members were stabbed to death at a sugarcane farm in Bishopstowe in Pietermaritzburg.
Last week, an 85-year-old Albert Falls farmer was shot dead.
DA Spokesperson on Agriculture and Rural Development, Chris Pappas, says they've also reached out to the international community for help.

He says they've written to the top ten international human rights organisations and are waiting to hear back from them.
"Barbaric, this is the word used to describe the atrocities taking place in the farmer and rural communities and I urged Premier for once and for all to move heaven and earth to stop the crimes against our farmers and farm workers and rural communities.
"We send our deepest condolences to all the families and communities who have lost loved ones over the past two weeks in the farming communities," added Pappas.
