The party says it's requested to meet eThekwini's city manager and CFO on Tuesday.

The municipality announced last month that the water bills for at least 49,000 households would be adjusted.
This comes after the municipality's error in applying 6 kilolitres of free basic water to households over the R250,000 threshold.
The DA's Mzamo Billy says they've requested an investigation to pinpoint the responsible party.
“We can confirm that the city manager is committed to launching that investigation and give us a report within a reasonable time."
"Our engagement with our city manager and senior officials has confirmed that no resident who owes the municipality will be disconnected as a result of the error caused by the city for a period of 36 months. During that period, residents will also be given an opportunity to pay back the money."
