DA Congress: ANC, media criticized over non-racialism
Updated | By Steve Bhengu
DA Federal Leader candidate John Steenhuisen has hit out at those say non-racialism will never work in our country.

He's been speaking during an address of the second day of the party's virtual national congress to elect a new leader.
Steenhuisen says the ruling party and the media have peddled the narrative that non-racialism is a bad idea that will only take the country backwards.
He says this is not true.
"We also chose to commit to the values necessary to build this prosperous and just South Africa and this includes the value of non-racialism", Steenhuisen said.
"There was much hindering when we did so from the ANC and from the media who cannot escape the toxic spell of the ruling party. They try to paint this as a step backwards", he said.
