DA chief whip Mncwango quits provincial legislature

The
former DA leader in KwaZulu-Natal Zwakele Mncwango says he's resigned from the provincial legislature and is still considering his options.

'He was the party's chief whip in the legislature.
In a statement, Mncwango says he met with current DA provincial leader Francois Rogers earlier this week.
He says they had a lengthy discussion about his future in politics and also gave him his reasons for quitting as an MPL.

Mncwango, who served as the DA’s chief whip in the legislature, says it wasn't an easy decision.
He says he's still considering whether to remain in politics or further his academic studies or even venture into the corporate world.
