DA MP John Steenhuisen has described its march yesterday as a new frontier of freedom and democracy in the country.
Steenhuisen addressed thousands of people who joined the DA-led march to the Durban beachfront - calling for President Jacob Zuma's resignation.
"We stand united to send a message loud and clear to President Jacob Zuma. We, as citizens will not be ignored for a moment longer," he said.

A representative of the African Christian Democratic Party says Zuma's cabinet reshuffle was the last straw.
"He ousted competent ministers, including those who have opposed the looting of state profits and it is for this reason that as the African Democratic Christian Party, together with other political parties, civil society and religious groups we say that Zuma must go," the representative said.
