Cyclist hurt in Richards Bay crash

A cyclist is receiving treatment in hospital after allegedly
being knocked off his bicycle while riding in Richards Bay on the north coast.
Emergency services say they were called to the scene at about 5.15pm this evening.
Initial reports from the scene are that the man had been cycling on the John Ross Highway when he was allegedly struck by a car.

Netcare911 says the 42-year-old man was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital for further care.
The exact circumstances leading up to the collision are unknown at this stage.
Authorities are investigating the incident.
