COVID-19: Zweli Mkhize talks on collab between private and public health sectors
Updated | By Nothando Mkhize
Health Minister Dr Zweli Mkhize says the collaboration between the public and private health sector in the fight against COVID-19 will translate to positive results when the National Health Insurance is implemented.

The Minister has been visiting several provinces in the country to assess the management of the second wave.
Mkhize says this collaboration will probably be led by the national government.
"A part of what COVID-19 has done also is to ensure that we understand the need for an integrated health service where the availability of beds, of expertise and of the protocols has to be shared in such a way that the public will be served well in the health sector, irrespective of whether someone went into the health sector through the public or private hospitals."
