Court hears details of Wentworth mother's fatal shooting

Two men accused of the murder of a Wentworth mother have made their first appearance in the Durban Magistrates’ Court.

32-year-old Bianca Parsons was murdered on Saturday night - in front of her three-year-old daughter. 

The court heard how Parsons was shot while sitting in her red VW Golf at a petrol station on Tara Road. 

The men allegedly shot Parsons in the neck while her husband was inside the garage shop. 

Her three-year-old daughter escaped the shooting unharmed.

Flowers have since been laid at the scene - marking the exact spot where Parsons took her last breath. 

Police arrested a 33-year-old man at a block of flats in Wentworth on Monday. A second arrest was made soon afterwards.

Officers have recovered a firearm they believe was used in the crime and have sent it for ballistic testing. 

The suspects are due to appear in court again next Wednesday - both men are facing a charge of murder.
