#COSATUnationalStrike gets underway
Updated | By ECR Newswatch
The march against job losses and unemployment has gotten underway - across eight provinces.

Cosatu members are advocating for the creation of job opportunities, in the private and public sector.
In a statement, the union says they want progressive policies that will help tackle the crisis of unemployment, inequality and poverty.
In KwaZulu-Natal, demonstrators assembled at King Dinuzulu Park and will wrap up the planned march at the Durban City Hall.
A memorandum will then be handed over to the representatives from the Premier’s Office, Chamber of Commerce and department of labour.
While in Gauteng, members will be making their way to the Gauteng Legislature from Mary Fitzgerald Square in Newtown.
Officials from Parliament, the City of Cape Town and Chamber of Business will respectively receive a memorandum of demands from marchers in the Western Cape.
