Cool conditions in KZN to continue tomorrow

The cooler weather being experienced in KwaZulu-Natal will continue into tomorrow. Severe thunderstorms have been forecast for parts of the province.

The South African Weather Service says maximum temperatures in the province will peak at around 24 degrees.

Some rain is also expected to fall. There is a 30 percent chance of rain in the morning for Durban. There is a 60 percent of morning rain in Richards Bay.

In Pietermaritzburg, the day will kick-off with a foggy start, becoming partly cloudy in the evening.

The weather service has issued a 'watch' for severe thunderstorms in north-western parts of the province from tomorrow.

Durban - 23
Margate and Ladysmith - 20
Richards Bay - 24
Newcastle and Kokstad - 16
Mooi River - 22
Ulundi - 21
Pietermaritzburg - 18
Drakensberg - 17

Sea swells in Durban will reach 5 metres tomorrow morning.

Wind speeds in Durban will exceed 40 kays per hour at around midday, that is according to Windguru.
