Construction worker crushed during wall collapse

A worker has been crushed to death after a wall collapsed on him at a construction site in Boboyi, outside Port Shepstone.

Spokesperson, Robert McKenzie says there was nothing they could do to save him.
"The circumstances as to why the wall collapsed are being investigated by the police. It is not exactly known how the wall, that was still under construction, collapsed. He was next to the wall when it collapsed, nine of his colleagues working around him managed to escape uninjured," he said.

This is the second death at a construction site in recent weeks.
A 27-year-old man died last month after falling from scaffolding at a site in Umhlanga.
