Concern among Port Shepstone residents over children's safety
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
The Port Shepstone residents are concerned about the safety of children in their community following two incidents involving young pupils.

Police spokesperson, Nqobile Gwala says in the first incident, a learner was approached by a motorist in Marburg.
"A learner was on her way to school when a certain man in a bakkie stopped next to her. It is alleged that a member of the public saw the driver luring the teenager into the vehicle and they shouted at the driver. As a result, the driver then drove off," Gwala said.
Gwala says the second incident involved four learners near Jai Hind Primary in Albersville.
"This morning, four learners at a local school in Albersville, Port Shepstone were dropped off by their parents behind the school. When they were dropped off, they were approached by two unknown suspects who threatened them with knives.
"The learners then screamed and the suspects fled. No harm was caused and no case was opened," Gwala said.
