Cogta Minister wants Durban to untap full economic potential

Cooperative Governance Minister, Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, has urged eThekwini's mayor to tap into Durban's full economic potential.
"The ocean is a huge economic frontier which we haven't tapped in. We need to develop that industry."
Dlamini-Zuma spoke in Durban yesterday on the municipality's District Development Model, it's aimed at improving service delivery.

She says Durban plays a vital role in KZN and our country's economy but that it could contribute more.
She says the Durban Harbour has slipped from being the busiest port on the continent.
"Manufacturing of ICT, there are obviously huge economic opportunities that we will be able to explore.
