A night vigil will be held in Phoenix on Monday after a double murder in the area north of Durban.

On Saturday, a man shot and killed his partner and their three-year-old daughter before turning the gun on himself.
The murder-suicide has shocked the community of Clayfield.

Local councillor Michelle Lutchmen says Monday evening's vigil has been organised by the area's policing forum.
"As community leaders, we will be present at the candlelight vigil to show our support. I always advise residents, if you are going through a difficult time, please know that you are not alone. We encourage you to seek help from the many NGOs."
