Christian leaders say Ramaphosa 'gave more than they asked for'
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
Christian leaders say they are humbled and delighted that lockdown rules for church gatherings have been relaxed, slightly, over the long Easter weekend.

President Cyril Ramaphosa told the country last night that a maximum of 250 people will be allowed to gather indoors and 500 outdoors.
He says for those venues too small to accommodate these figures, 50% of that venue's capacity will be allowed.

Bishop Maroti Mashashane is with the SA National Christian Forum says churches were given more than they'd asked for.
"The president giving us 250 in the building and 500 in the open plan, that is actually a bonus. We cannot complain. We are delighted and appreciated the move."
