Chatsworth Police Station reopens after officer contracts COVID-19
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
National police have confirmed that the Chatsworth Police Station has been reopened.

The station was shut on Monday after an officer tested positive for COVID-19.
Police spokesperson, Vishnu Naidoo says the officer had last been at the station on Monday last week and had booked off sick for the rest of the week.
Naidoo says the community service centre was immediately evacuated and underwent a process of decontamination.
"All members that may have possibly come in contact with the infected member have been requested to either go for screening or testing or both, and that's currently underway," he says.
