Chatsworth councillor warns against bullying in schools
Updated | By Steve Bhengu
A ward councillor in Chatsworth has warned that if the issues the youth are facing are not taken seriously, more young people will continue resorting to drastic measures.

Ward 70 councillor, Tony Govender spoke to journalists outside Chatsworth Secondary School, where a 17-year-old pupil recently took his own life after allegedly being bullied.
Govender had gone to the school to speak to the principal, but he was not available.
Govender says the boy's death has left the community shaken.
"The community is very angered and disturbed at this point in time. It is not the first time this has happened in the community. We see similar incidents throughout Chatsworth have already occurred.
"The community is saying enough is enough. When is the department going to take the parents, children and the youth seriously," Govender said.
