Cele vows to build more police stations in KZN
Updated | By Noxolo Miya
Police Minister Bheki Cele says more police stations will be built to combat crime in KwaZulu-Natal.

He led a community Imbizo in Mariannhill, west of Durban, on Thursday, a week after nine suspects were killed in a shootout with police.
They were wanted for allegedly terrorising the community and were linked to a string of violent crimes.
Cele addressed residents who attended the meeting and voiced their frustrations over crime levels in their communities.

"Building of the police station, we now have money from the police, land from the city, we are still working with the Department of Public Works.
"We hope in the very near future that the conversation will be there and the provincial and national commissioners will put the personnel on that one."
