Cele made the remarks during a media briefing at the ANC’s national executive committee meeting in Boksburg on Monday.
Forbes and his friend Tebello Motsoane were gunned down outside a Florida Road restaurant in Durban some eight months ago.

Cele said the investigating team is working on collecting more evidence.
"The fear on the AKA thing is that it is a very high-profile case. So the team says when they act, they want to act on a very tight thing because they fear to arrest and let go and give us a problem as one case at the present moment is giving us a lot of problems."
