CBD crash victims laid to rest

The four Clairwood family members who were killed in a car accident in the Durban CBD yesterday have been laid to rest.
Two cars collided in the early hours of yesterday morning, with one of them landing on its roof after smashing into a fast food outlet.

The four family members have been identified as Abdul Khan and his wife, Fathima, as well as their children, Waheeda and Hafiz Fardeen.
It is understood that the Khans had been returning home from visiting a relative in hospital, when they collided with another vehicle on the corner of Yusuf Dadoo and Anton Lembede Streets.
All four died on the scene.
They were buried last night in accordance with Muslim rites.
The occupants of the other vehicle - a father and son - were seriously hurt and remain in hospital.
