Bushiri to hand himself over to Malawi authorities
Updated | By Newswatch
Fraud-accused pastor, Shepherd Bushiri says he's going to present himself before law enforcement agencies in Malawi this morning.

He says he wants to "legally explain and defend the decisions" surrounding his and wife's exit from South Africa.
He made the announcement on his Facebook page a short while ago and took issue with statements made by the Home Affairs Minister before a parliamentary committee yesterday.

Bushiri believes he won't be given a fair trial here. The self-proclaimed prophet and his wife Mary, who are out on bail on fraud charges, fled South Africa claiming they didn't feel safe.
Yesterday, Minister Aaron Motsoaledi said that his department's looking into how the Bushiris were granted permanent residency in 2016.
