Bus 'completely destroyed' in fire at Durban intersection

A bus has gone up in flames on the Berea in Durban on Tuesday morning.

Emergency responders say the vehicle caught alight at the intersection of Peter Mokaba and King Dinuzulu Roads.
The driver was the only person on the bus at the time.

KZN EMS spokesperson, Robert Mckenzie says the events leading up to the blaze aren't clear at this stage.
"Nobody was injured in the fire and it was only the bus driver ion the vehicle at the time - who managed to escape safely.
"The bus has been completely destroyed and the fire has since been extinguished by our firefighters from the eThekwini department."
