Boy, 16, fatally electrocuted apparently while train-surfing at Durban station

A 16-year-old boy has died after he was electrocuted apparently while train-surfing at the Umgeni Railway Station in Durban.

Police spokesperson, Nqobile Gwala says the child was found lying on top of a train at platform one on Sunday.

"Police officers, as well as other role players, were called out to recover the body of the boy."
"The victim was electrocuted while train surfing and an inquest docket was opened for investigation at the Durban Central Police Stations," she says.
