Updated | By Sandile Bhengu
With the countdown to the matric finals well underway, several boot camps have been set up in KwaZulu-Natal to help Grade 12s prepare for the exams.
This year's cohort has less than a month before start of the exams on the 1st of November.
KZN Education MEC Mbali Frazer and Head of Department Nkosinathi Ngcobo paid a visit to one of the boot camps in the Umlazi District on Monday morning.

It's one of four that are being held in the district.
The department's Muzi Mahlambi says the camp, which began on Sunday, will run until Saturday.
"Its more than revision in the sense that they go over the paper in certain sections, what it means for time allocation and other technical issues like how to approach a question because learners don't pay attention to those issues."
