Body of unknown man found in Taylors Halt stream

Police are probing the death of a man whose body was found floating in a stream in Pietermaritzburg.
The body was found by a passerby at KwaGudlintaba in Taylors Halt on Monday.
It’s believed the victim slipped on the rocks and drowned while trying to cross.

Provincial police spokesperson Nqobile Gwala says the man’s identity is unknown.
"An inquest docket is being investigated by Taylors Halt SAPS. A body of an unknown man was found, and a post-mortem was conducted to determine the cause of death."
