Body of boy (4) who went missing in Plessislaer found

Pietermaritzburg police say the body of a child who went missing just over a week ago in Plessislaer has been found in a septic bank.
Four-year-old Mlando Zuma was last seen playing near a home in the Dambuza area 10 days ago.
Police say last night, search and rescue members were called out by the community to the Entabeni area in Dambuza after a body was found in the sewer.
The sewer was near the house the child was last seen playing at.
They say that the body was recovered and handed over to police.

Officers say the child was positively identified and an inquest docket was opened.
But the community gathered outside the house where the child was found on Monday morning and set it alight.
Police are currently awaiting the post-mortem results to determine the cause of death.
