Body of missing Cape Town woman found

The body of a missing Cape Town woman Meghan Cremer was found on Thursday morning in a sand mine in Philippi.

Cremer was reported missing on Saturday when she disappeared when leaving a farm in the area.

Western Cape police spokesperson FC Van Wyk says on the same night three suspects - aged 27, 34 and 35 - were found in possession of her car.
"Investigations brought to light the car indeed belonged to the 34-year-old who was reported missing to local police. The three male suspects have been charged with illegal possessions of a presumably stolen vehicle."

Van Wyk says the 27-year-old will be charged with murder.
The suspects are due to appear in the Athlone Magistrate’s Court on Thursday.
