Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
The bodies of the two municipal officials who disappeared during heavy rains this past weekend have been found.

Their vehicle was spotted floating in the Umdloti River in Ogunjini, north of Durban, on Monday.
Divers went into the water but found no one inside the vehicle.
At some point, the search operation had to be halted due to a strong water current.
