Bluff worker electrocuted while working to repair cable

A municipal worker has died after being electrocuted and then knocked over by a car on the Bluff in Durban.

Rescue Care's Ceron Meadows says the man had been working on an electricity cable.
He was shocked and fell off the ladder - and landed on the road where a car struck him.
"Advance life support paramedics have been working very hard to try and resuscitate the man. Unfortunately, the man succumbed to his injuries and has been declared deceased on scene. However, SAPS are on scene and will be investigation further," she said.
