Birchwood Park residents warned of unsafe tap water
Updated | By Gcinokuhle Malinga
If you live in Pinetown's Birchwood Park area, please be
aware that the water from your tap isn't safe to drink.

eThekwini's issued an urgent notice about the quality of the water supply there, saying it's investigating the source of contamination.
Samples tested from the suburb don't meet safety guidelines.
As a precaution, residents are being asked to first boil their tap water for a minute before drinking it.

This isn't the first time Birchwood's water quality standards dipped. It happened last month as well.
The City only a week ago gave residents the all-clear, saying the resource was safe.
