Biker killed while trying to avoid rocks on M4

A biker has been killed while apparently trying to avoid rocks on a Durban freeway.
Garrith Jamieson of ALS Paramedics says the crash happened on Thursday afternoon on the M4 before Himalaya offramp in the south.

"ALS Paramedics arrived on the scene to find the lifeless man lying on the road. Unfortunately, he had sustained major injuries, and there was nothing paramedics could do for him, and he was declared deceased at the scene.”
The male is believed to be in his early thirties.
“The scene will remain active for some time as SAPS investigates the collision. I would strongly advise all motorists to avoid this area at all costs."
Earlier on Thursday, the driver of a bakkie was killed after colliding with a truck on the N2 between Ballito and Shaka's Rock in northern KZN.
