Man killed in crash between bakkie, truck on N2

One person died in a crash involving a truck and a bakkie on the N2 between Ballito and Shaka's Rock on Thursday morning.
IPSS Medical Rescue's Samantha Meyrick says medics and other officials have recovered the driver's body from the wreckage of his bakkie.
"Both occupants of the truck sustained serious injuries. They were stabilised on scene by IPSS and other medical services before being transported to a suitable facility for further care.

“Traffic on the right-hand lanes of both the N2 South and Northbound has been affected, and it will continue to be affected for several hours."
Police were on scene to investigate the cause of the crash.
