Biker killed in Durban crash

A biker has lost his life in a collision with a truck on Bayhead Road, south of Durban.
The smash took place near the Shell garage this morning, as traffic started building up in the vicinity of Rotterdam Road.

It is still uncelar what caused the crash.Rescue Care's Garrith Jamieson says the biker, believed to have been in his 50s, had suffered major injuries.
Jamieson says ambulance services had begun resuscitation efforts, but Advanced Life Support paramedics took over upon arrival.

"However, despite over 30 minutes of resuscitation efforts and due to the severe injuries the man had sustained, he was declared dead at the scene," said Jamieson.Show's Stories
