Christopher Housten - one of the two accused - says he isn't the one responsible for her murder.

His lawyer had wanted another investigating officer to be appointed.

But the Durban Magistrate's Court said yesterday that Housten's bail hearing will have to be postponed by around three weeks - saying they'll wait for Erugubathi Naidoo to recover from heart surgery.  Parsons's loved ones say it's what they wanted.

"On behalf of the family - we are pleased with what has transpired in court with regards to the refusal of bail. The family remains strong. We hope that in the near future that justice will prevail," the relative said.

Houston's co-accused - Darryl Murrisson - admitted to shooting Parsons, without having seen her face at a petrol station last month.
